We are excited to introduce a new project, LEAD - Launchpad for Entrepreneurship and Development. This inspiring project aims to empower our community, or a city near you, by providing families and individuals with leadership and entrepreneurship skills through a business platform, helping them grow and thrive as successful leaders within the community.
Community Needs
The current statistics for Lake Havasu City demonstrate the economic challenges faced by many families, not just in LHC but also nationwide. According to the U.S. Census Bureau 2023 statistics on Income & Poverty for LHC:
- Median household income (in 2022 dollars), 2018-2022 was $64,027.
- Per capita income in past 12 months (in 2022 dollars), 2018-2022 was $40,951.
- Persons in poverty, percent 12.3%
- At one elementary school 71% of students are enrolled in the lunch program (which has low-income qualifications).
Our Approach
There are many wonderful local charities that help families to meet some of their needs, however, we believe in taking a collaborative pro-active approach. We believe in helping families and individuals solve the financial problems they are experiencing.
We can all help them achieve the tools and training needed to overcome those challenges while experiencing complimentary business ownership for 1 year.
